Embrace Your Music Enrollment Agreement

Thank you for choosing Embrace Your Music (www.embraceyourmusic.com). Your participation in piano lessons or creative coaching indicates acceptance of the following policies:

1. Creative Portal

   Upon committing to lessons or creative coaching, you will receive a link to create a log-in for the Creative Portal. This platform serves as your access point for resources, practice tools, session information, and rescheduling options.

2. Billing and Tuition

   Embrace Your Music offers flexible enrollment options to support steady growth and creative depth. In-person lesson packages include a mix of private lessons, monthly group lessons, and recital options designed to nurture confident, well-rounded musicianship. Tuition reserves a specific lesson time, is due immediately upon receipt of invoice, and is non-refundable, regardless of attendance. Regular attendance is encouraged for maximum benefit and the tuition structure accounts for missed lessons due to unforeseen circumstances.

   Private lessons focus on personalized technique, repertoire, improvisation, and creative development.

   Group lessons support collaboration, performance, and play. One group lesson per month replaces a private lesson for those enrolled in in-person lessons. Held on the last Sunday of each month:

   Young Musicians – 4:45 PM

   Adult Musicians – 6:00 PM

   Individual Lessons: For exploratory lessons or for those who prefer flexible, ad hoc scheduling of either group or private lessons, based on availability. Full payment is required at the time of booking.

   In-Person: 15 min – $65 | 30 min – $75 | 45 min – $85 | 60 min – $95

   Online: 15 min – $55 | 30 min – $65 | 45 min – $75 | 60 min – $85

   Monthly Enrollment (~4 sessions per month): Ideal for musicians seeking consistency and community. Some months include fewer or more than four learning experiences due to studio breaks. Save up to 18% on the Individual Lesson rate, depending on the lesson type.

   In-Person: 15 min – $220 | 30 min – $260 | 45 min – $300 | 60 min – $340

   Online: 15 min – $180 | 30 min – $220 | 45 min – $260 | 60 min – $300

3. Rescheduling and Cancellations

   Your lesson time is visible on the Creative Portal calendar. If you need to miss a session, log in and cancel with at least 24 hours' notice to receive a make-up credit for future use, depending on availability. All credits expire at the end of the studio year on August 1st. Session cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are not available for rescheduling, but you can submit pre-recorded practice videos for feedback. A virtual session in lieu of an in-person lesson is available at the usual lesson time with at least one hour notice.

4. Discontinuation

   If discontinuing monthly enrollment in lessons or coaching, please provide 30 days' written notice. Any notice fewer than 30 days will incur a fee equal to one month’s tuition.

5. Creative Relationship

   Piano lessons and creative coaching involve creative relating between you, me, the piano, your audience, and your first instrument: your body. These relationships demand courage and commitment. I applaud your trust in yourself and am grateful to support your self-expression in music!
